On offer is this antique, ceramic, under the glaze transferred, ORIGINAL, multi-colored PRATTWARE pot lid entitled, "The Skewbald Horse" The lid shows the engraver's name (J. Austin) at about 5 o'clock on the lid face perimeter. In good condition. This example is rated as SCARCE in Mortimer's reference book. The lid measures 5 3/8" in diameter. Lid only. No base section provided. This item is offered at far below the "low-end" valuation in Mortimer's reference guide! ...
