Up for auction, we are offering a vintage aqua quartfruit jar embossed, MASON’S (arched) PATENT NOV 30TH 1858 onthe front and on the reverse, it is embossed, BALL(in script).  Theembossing is light overall.  It is embossed on the bottom, 211. The jar has a ground glass lipwith a porcelain lined, screw zinc metal lid embossed on the inside, GENUINE ZINCCAP FOR BALL MASON JARS and embossed on top, BALL.  The jar measures about 7&1/2inches tall with the lid. ...; The jar, Ibelieve, is listed in Red Book #1815.  Iam not 100% sure as the description states that there are no crossbars on the A’s.  But, this bottle has crossbars on the A’swhich are very low and very faint, but they are there.  I am using Red Book #8.The jar is in very good conditionwith no cracks.  There is some minorchipping and flea bites around the edge of the ground lip.  In addition, there are some light scratches anda very light interior haze.  At thebottom, along the seam line there is a small enough glob of glass so that thebottle can wobble.  The zinc metal lid isalso in good condition with minor corrosion and the porcelain liner which is cracked but intact.  See pictures for overall condition.Allitems come from a smoke free home and are sold as is.If there are any questions, please email me before youbid.Thank you!Terms and Conditions:  All items are shipped via USPSPriority Mail.  Items are vintage or antique and may have usual wearassociated with the age of the item.  If you have any questions, pleaseemail us before you bid!  We accept returns, but you must contact us within3 days of receiving the item.  If you do not contact us within 3 days, wewill not take the item back.  Items mustbe the original shipped item in the same condition as sent.  Returnsaccepted for gross negligence of description of condition.  Buyer pays for return shipping charges.  Returns not accepted forbuyer's remorse.
