A VINTAGE HURLEY & SONS, NEWPORT, MONMOUTHSHIRE, WALES, BREWED GINGER BEER STONE BOTTLE dating back to the early c1900's that has been found buried on a domestic rubbish tip a few years ago. On the right hand side base edge towards the rear is the partly illegible PRICE 5 BRISTOL impressed stamp. The cork stoppered bottle measures just under 18cm high and is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with full gloss sheen to the glaze surface having no cr...acks or hairlines. There is a flake or chip on the rear base edge which has been caused during burial. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save on postage and shipping costs.
