We are selling an elegant antique One-of-A-Kind Rare English sterling bocce/lawn black bowling ball Trophy purchased from Henry Gregory on Portobello Road, London, which specializes in high end sporting memorabilia. It’s a very decorative English trophy. The top of the ball has a detailed engraved sterling plate embedded in it showing a man bowling. Engraved on the sterling band around the ball, it states: St. Leonard’s P.S.A. Bowling Club Trophy presented by the Rev. W.M. Falconer... M.A. 1907 - all engraved in capital letters. There are 2 sterling shields around the ball showing the earliest recipients who include:First Engraved Shield Thomas Robertson 1907D. Renstead 1908J.R. MFTaggart 1909R.
