Cartier Early 20th Century BlueSapphire Dress Set in 14K Yellow Gold w/a Pair of Cufflinks and 3 Shirt Studs.
The double-sided cufflinks and three studs are designedas a polished disk bezel-set with square, cabochon-cut blue sapphires. Fitted in their original Cartier green case.
Hallmarks: Cufflinks stamped CARTIER on connecting bar. Back of each disk also stamped 14Kin C-shaped box and 14K by itself.
Cufflinks Serial: 1739 1821
Studs stamped C14 on posts, 14K... on back of disks. Appear to be 3 indistinguishable numbers onposts.
Measurements: Each cufflink disk diameter is approx.15 mm. or 9/16 in. Weight of each is approx. 5.5 gm. Each stud disk is approx. 3/8 in. or 9mm in diameter. Backing pins are approx. 1 3/16 in. Weight of each stud is approx. 1.6 gm.
