For sale is a handsome sterling silver English tea caddy with hinged cover.
Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1932. This navette-shaped tea caddy has a good, solid weight of 197.3 grams or 6.34 troy ounces. It has the unusual feature of a hinged finial on the top. Very good condition with normal signs of age and wear. One very small indent on the back of the lid edge. (Please view the photos). Otherwise no damage. The hinge works perfectly and the lid shuts properly. It meas...ures approximately 3” tall x 3 3/4” long x 2” wide.
