For sale is an antique charge token from A&S. I think this might be Abraham & Straus but this does not resemble any charge token I have ever seen by them so if it is it would be a very early version. Also, this token was found on a WWI dog tag chain so it might be from the WWI period. Further, the "T-X" designation might stand for tax exempt. So perhaps this credit token belonged to a WWI soldier whose military status made him eligible for sales tax&nbs...p;exemption. Anyway, it is in good shape with normal wear and patina from age and use, as pictured. The condition is original so you can polish to taste. Buyer pays supping fe based on zip-code. Paypal accepted.
