Here is another very rare item from my Napoleonic ActionFigure collection, “Jean” – a French infantryman from Napoleon’s famous ImperialGuard Grenadier Regiments. This figure is brand-new in its original box, whoseinterior has never been opened. The Jean figure is beautifully dressed, withhis white shirt, off-white vest and trousers, high off-white gaiters, whitegloves, shoes, and spectacular uniform coat with accurate Guard buttons andeven the correct internal red lining and r...ed epaulettes. Jean also comes with a choice of headgear –the famous Imperial Guard Grenadier bearskin hat for going into battle or themore comfortable forage cap for wearing around the campfire. Jean’s equipment is incredibly detailed, fromthe back pack and blanket roll, to the cartridge box (complete with Imperial Eagleof course) that has a separate internal cartridge block, another example of theincredible detail of this model, because it is something you normally neversee. The weapons are highly accurate, from the “Charleville” Modell 1777 Modified in the Year IX Musket to its bayonetand scabbard plus a “briquet” (short sword or hanger) and scabbard, bothcarried on the correct white cross belt. Jean was made by the Dragon in Dreams company in anexclusive, very limited edition for the British firm Modellers’ Loft in 2005, and like the other Napoleonic Action Figures made by DiD at that time, he soldout quickly and is now eagerly sought by action figure collectors and also fansof the Napoleonic Wars because he makes such an impressive display item. Even used Jean figures without the originalpackaging command high prices, but with my Jean you are getting a brand-newfigure, 100% complete, with everything untouched, because the interior of thebox is still factory sealed (just look at the seals in my photos; you will seethat they have never been broken). I know you will enjoy owning Jean; he is the best dressed characterof all my Napoleonic Action Figures. I live in Germany, so shipping Jean to the UK is a bitexpensive, but I am also offering four other brand-new and rareNapoleonic Action Figures from DID in 1/6 scale – Dick (95thRifles), George (15th the King’s Hussars), Bruce (Royal ScotsRegiment) and Carnot (French Imperial Guard Sapper), and the shipping costs forup to three figures will be the same as for one, because even three of theboxes stay under the weight limit of the least expensive package from Germany tothe UK with full insurance and tracking. This is your last chance to get this figure without having to paycustoms duties and higher postage costs; all this will change after the end ofDecember unless the UK and EU can work out a trade deal, which unfortunately Ido not think will happen in the time remaining). The shipping costshown as "domestic shipping" for the UK eBay site also applies to allother EU countries. Non-EU buyers should contact me about postage costsfirst. For shipping costs to the US I have listed the German DHL expressservice rate with full insurance and tracking. The shipping cost to theUS will be $19 less if you are willing to wait for the package to arrive byship 4-6 weeks later. Because of Corona (very few transatlantic flightsnowadays), packages only go by air if you pay for premium shipping. As with theUK, I can ship three of these boxed figures for the same cost as one of them, so if you buy up to three figures the shipping on the second and third one isfree. And if you would like to buy more than three, I will ensure that the combined shipping cost is as low as possible.Correction in the photos, 27 Oct: Somehow a photo of Angus (Imperial Guard Sapper, not a Grenadier) got into Jean's photos by mistake. I have now replaced it with the correct one. Sorry for any confusion.
