Vintage 1980 ' S Satin Wedding Gown With Pearl Sequin Lace Bodice

This lovely satin wedding gown has a kind of maid in the meadow feeling to it. I get that from the way the bottom of the dress is accented with bows that give the appearance of lifting the outer skirt to show the lace beneath. The style of the sleeves evoke an earlier time, the era of the romantic shepherdess, a look that Marie Antoinette aspired to.Some further measurements: Shoulder to Shoulder - 14 1/2”. Waist - 24”. In ...the back - top of neck to edge of train - 78”
I have not had this gown cleaned. I leave that to you! There are no stains. I have found a tiny dot here and there....but nothing substantial. The 11th photo shows a spot where the fabric is worn. This is in the back near the bottom.
The last photo shows the mannequin wearing a Venetian mask. I thought the gown could also be worn at a Carnival in Venice ball. The addition of a velvet cloak, or a luxurious shawl would evoke the mystery of Venice.
