I have a collection of old tapestrys which were old shop stock from a sewing and furnishing shop which closed down abotu 25 years ago. These items dates from late 1950s -1960s and have old shop labels in pre-decimal prices.
This is a square shaped wall hanging or picture which could be framed- would also make great cushion front or seat cover. Could also be used as chair back if it was hemmed.
The scene is of Flemish or French men playing boules while me...n and a woman are drinking while watching. There is a small boy playing with a dog in a rustic setting.
Measures approx 50 cm long ( 19 1/2 inches x 19 1/2 inches) and 50 cm wide.
No damage.
