I purchased this beautiful corset about 20 years ago to wear for Christmas once when I was significantly slimmer. It has been lovingly stored away in my closet ever since.
ANTIQUE circa 19th Century Dark PLUM Purple VELVET Lace-Up Boned CORSET Juliet BODICE with Wide Spread Band Shoulder Straps, Straight Neckline, Crop Side & Back Hem with Long Pointed Front Hem Missing the original laces and don't have the cord I used when I wore it that one time, so that will need t...o be replaced by the new owner.
Fully Closed: 29.5" Bust, 21" Waist, 14" Long at shoulder to side hem, 13" Long at Center Front from neckline to pointed hem
Great Vintage Wearable Collectible Condition (Despite it's age, it was made so expertly and with an eye for quality fabrics, that it is still in amazing and sturdy condition with only light signs of age and wear in the small patches of underarm staining, a loose thread here and there, and light edge wear.)
I'm also including 3 of my mother's 1970's Pink & Purple VELVET "Renaissance" Style METALLIC GOLD RIBBON Round Bangle BRACELETS because they seem to match so well with this bodice for a more complete Juliet look.-wide burgundy wine bracelet has a 7.25" circumference-slimmer purple bracelet has a 7.5" circumference-fuchsia pink bracelet has a 7.75" circumferenceGreat Vintage Condition
