This is a miniature embossed metal plaque. Nice gilt or brass embossed rim and raised relief Little Red Riding Hood scene in the middle. The middle scene is dark metal but there is a splash of silver on the design. I do not know if this was added by someone to see if it would look better lighter. It is more visible in person than in the photographs.Please look at the pictures as they are part of my description.It is 2 inches in diameter. Heavy for a small ...piece.
