Here is an original German W.. II M40 Waffen Elite Field Gray wool side cap.  Just one look at this in person and you will know that it's real.  Still has vestiges of the old sewing thread.  "fuzziness' gone from the exterior, and staining on the interior.  Picked this up from the family years ago.  The kids removed the insignia in the 50's.  I frankly dare the haters to question this one.
