1.1m EXQUISITE 19th CENTURY BRUSSELS HONITON LACE FICHU SCARF LAPPETS 323 ... Click images to enlarge Description This is a very beautiful 19th century handmade lace scarf or possibly a shawl, fichu/ or lappets. I think it is either Brussels or Honiton, it looks like a bobbin lace appliquéd to very fine machine net. It is very delicately made from very fine pale cream linen thread, it all looks very ethereal and transluscent. The condition is very good with minor wear.
It measures about 43.5" by 5" at its longest and widest or about 110 cm by 12.5 cm.Thank you for looking.
