Vintage 1940s -- or earlier -- Hermes Paris women's leather Gloves.
Hermes genuine leather gloves made in Paris circa 1940s or earlier. Stitching on these gloves looks to have been done by hand.
Stamped on the inside of one glove it reads "7" for size, and inside the other glove it reads, "HERMES 24 Ru St Honore Paris." This is an original, authentic Hermes logo that pre-dates their horse drawn-carriage logo that came into being in the 1950s, and these are au...thentic vintage Hermes gloves, posted in accordance with ebay policies that prohibit the sale of counterfeit items.
Nut-brown leather gloves are in nicely used condition. Leather is still soft and subtle with no holes, and hand stitching is still strong and intact. Discoloration, or additional tanning, can be seen on gloves where they saw more contact with the world around them.
