Selling an ANTIQUE 1800's W. & L. E. Gurley Surveying Surveyor's Compass Early Model with just under a 7" Diameter face.  The compass still works great with dial pointing north; level bubbles work correctly, brass knobs turn normally; both sites are in the box, the thumb screws for those two end sites are included but one thumb screw is missing the knob portion - it still screws on normally but is reduced to blunt end.  There are no other accessories in the box besides th...e two end sites.  Very old label with "Established in 1845" on label.  No actual date on the compass.   Box opens and closes normally with metal clasps working normally; some paint splotches and scratches on outside of box.   Box measures 4¼"x 8½"x 16½".  Free standard shipping in the USA.
