Vintage Antique 1940-50s Bread Slicer Utensil SLICE-A-SLICE ACE Mfg Chalfont, PA. Condition is Used. See pictures for more details of the item and box.
The box touts, “Slice-a-Slice makes a very thin bread from an ordinary baker’s slice. For Melba Toast, Canapés, Party Snacks, Triple Decker Rolled and Party Sandwiches, Tart Cases, Patty Shells, Bread Puddings”.
Instructions on how to use the item are printed right on the box, along with how to make Melba toast.
The s...licer itself is in good condition. There is some sight normal wear discoloration, see pictures.
A recipe pamphlet is included, “Recipe suggestions using very Thin Bread, featuring the Slice-a-Slice.” It has an introduction page, and some recipe ideas that are entertaining to read.
The box is in used condition, some staining and wear from being in the kitchen. There are some tiny pieces of the pink box that have worn off over time. Please see pics.
What appears to be the original sale sticker is still on the box, from Bostrom’s Uptown Plaza. See pictures to see that sticker as well.
