This auctionis an HO Scale Athearn Blue Box Wide Vision Caboose, Chessie System/Baltimore and Ohio #3358. This car is factorypainted in the famous Chessie scheme of yellow with an orange stripe and navyChessie logo and reporting marks. This is truly one of the most recognizablepaint schemes for any fallen flag road name. The car comes in its original boxwith the original instructions, and has been assembled and has red markerlights added to one end. The lights are powered by a 9 volt b...attery inside thecar and are turned on and off by holding a magnet near the car. There is aninstruction inside the box that explains how to use a magnet to activate ordeactivate the switch. I am not the original owner of this car, but I did testthe lights and they work. They flash alternately when on. The original weightfrom the car has been removed to accommodate the added weight of the battery.The car has been fitted with Kadee couplers and comes in the original box withthe original instructions. As with all of the original Athearn Blue Box kits, this is a great looking and rolling car.
