This offering is for an original antique 1868 Victorian Jacket. It came with a group of dresses from an original wedding trousseau. Though this piece was not labeled as such I'm sure it was from the same group. As would be expected, for an item of this period it has seen better days. The jacket has various stains, holes and other flaws. However she still has an amazing story to tell. The bodice is full lined in muslin, all hand stitched, original closures and amazing trim on the full b...ell sleeves. I originally purchased this piece from an antiques shop and used her as a construction project for fairly new sewers and design students. The over all condition is fair/good. I have included basic measurements, though I do not consider this item 'wearable'.
