You are bidding on a WWIFrench Croix de Guerre Medal (1914-1917). The medal is used and is ingood condition with limited signs of wear and age. The ribbon is also used andhas a star device attached. The ribbon shows signs of having additionalStar devices attached. The Star Device indicatesthe individual was mention in dispatches at the Brigade or Regiment level. The ribbon is sewn at the top and has somesort of residue on the reverse side. TheCroix de Guer...re was awarded to French Soldiers and military units that distinguishthemselves by acts of heroism involving combat with the enemy.
