Here for sale is a beautiful solid bronze study of a Japanese rat stood upon a walnut, the piece has been made using the traditional lost wax casting process in a foundry. The bronze measures aproximately 7 x 6 x 8 cms.The quality of the casting is superb and you would be forgiven for thinking this was 100+ years old with the attention to detail and beautiful natural chocolate brown patina which has been achieved in the hand finishing process.Although modern, all our bronzes a...re 100% original and have been made using traditional centuries old techniques unlike the cheap inferior quality cold cast and resin figures passed off as bronzes currently.
