Up for bid is an elegant pedestal candy jar withlid in the Dart pattern. The Dart pattern is very simple with a singlevertical line design on the sides of the bowl. The bowl is gently scallopedalong the rim. Research indicates that glass identification experts agree thepattern maker is unknown but say the pattern was made in the 1870s. It measures4 1/2” in diameter at the rim x 9 1/4” high to the top of the lid. It is in excellentcondition with no chips or cracks.
