From My Grandma's Treasures...
This great necklace is from my mom's collection of gemstone and antique glass beads that she started collecting on trips in the early 1980's...96 years old now and enjoying seeing where her special treasures are going. She hopes that you will enjoy them as much as she did all these years. Most of them are still in very good condition, or I have had them restrung at her request for her "customers" (as she says!). This ...necklace actually belonged to my grandmother who started collecting antique glass bead necklaces before my mom did...it is a 40" long necklace of substantial size red beads that are sold true red, not dipped or flashed with red color. The beads measure 3/4" in length each, by a shy 1/2" in width each. The round spacers are 5 MM each. This is a great necklace on original thread. The thread is in great condition...it is beautiful, in rare to find "true" red color. Sure to be noticed and admired, yours now to cherish...
