Vintage Poinsettia Pin Brooch. Designer Trifari crown piece By Alfred Philippe. Very Rare 1950’s brooch found in antique costume jewelry books, and more notably, on the COVER of Judith miller’s collector guide of costume jewlery... This treat of a piece is in good condition. Note there are three missing stones. If inspected with a magnifying glass and into the light. There are a couple places where a line can be seen across the ‘ruby’ petal. Please see and examine photos very ...closely. These flaws are very hard to capture in pictures but when examining pictures in a very thorough way, they are visible. Overall metal structure of pin is solid and exceptional in form. Piece has been sitting under a bed for decades on end... in no way has it had heavy use, rather a piece worn a time or two. As always, items come from a smoke free love filled home in the heart of Santa Fe. I acquired this item as it was one of many beautiful pieces in my great great grandmothers collection. She had great taste and access to special pieces as she worked In the fashion industry as a buyer for a large department store in NY. Please check back as I have lots more great pieces yet to list.
