Offered is a beautiful "Antique, Nippon, Hand Painted, 8 sided, Handled, Porcelain, Nut Bowl with Tiny Applied Beads & Slip Porcelain". This real Nut Bowl is fresh out of a local estate and is being offered to you, exactly as found (see photos). I can find no major problems with it, at all. I can find no breaks, cracks or repairs of any kind. Any age/use wear should be considered normal and expected (see photos). Painted inside the Nut Bowl is a beautiful picture of nuts, stems and... leaves (see photos). The variations of the painted colors are distinct and highlight the painted picture (see photos). On the outside of the rim is painted a continuous pattern of tiny blue beads and a wavy pattern of slip porcelain (see photos). On the base is clearly stamped the blue maple leaf mark, Nippon & Hand Painted (see photo). This Nut Bowl measures approx. 3 1/2" high at the handles, 3" high at the sides, 8 7/8" across the rim and 5 1/2" across the base.Thank you and Good Luck.
