East West Musical Instruments Vintage Leather Jacket Rodeo Rose RARE!. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Very rare jacket in excellent original condition. Original Talon zipper works great. Very light wear: see photos for overall condition. One very small open seam on the back which would be a very easy fix. No lining...most of these did not have one. There are no holes to indicate there ever was one. It is missing the label and there are holes on the inside placket where it would be.... This model, called the Rodeo, is well documented. I have attached a pic from an East West website that documents all the jackets, and this very same style is pictured. All of the details match, including the same oversized Talon zipper. There were also remnants of vintage newspapers that were stuck to the insides of the sleeves. Definitely an original vintage piece. There is a faint cigarette odor. I surface cleaned it and the odor has dissipated a lot. If it is an issue, obviously a professional leather cleaner would be recommended. Some do ozone treatment; others say it can damage leather. I will leave it up to the buyer.
Sizing: these jackets were made very slim. They were made for skinny hippies who wore them tight. Keep that in mind! Measures armpit to pit 16 3/4”; shoulder seam to seam 15 3/4”; shoulder seam to cuff 21 3/4”; top of collar to hem in front 22.” I don’t know what modern size this equates to, but the jacket is quite small!
