Antique Porcelain Child's Toy Pitcher, Creamer or JugGreat condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. There are a few spots where the gold gilt around the edge of the pitcher is showing wear/fade. The one tree in the image is missing the top part of the tree (see photo 11) and the soldiers also have a few missing spots (see photo 12). It is marked GERMANY on the bottom and there is also an impressed mark but I cannot make it out. It looks like it might be 00. (See photo 6... directly under the word GERMANY near the edge of the cup).The bottom of the pitcher as well as the top rim opening is slightly scalloped and there is also a scroll & small dot design in the porcelain around the top edge of the pitcher.Measures 3 3/8" tall x 3 1/2" (side to handle) x 2 3/4" (side to side). Weighs 4.0 ounces. Holds 5pz, Image is of a young boy sitting on a cart with a cannon on the back of it and 2 wooden horses on a wooden platform in the front. A castle & trees in the background. There are also 2 small soldiers walking side by side on the back of the cup. I buy most of my pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so I don't know the history of the item. I am not an antique dealer or expert. I describe the item along with any flaws and markings I can find the best I can.
