It is with great sadness that I'm putting up this guitar for sale. It belonged to my great aunt Christine McCormack (maiden name). She was a semi professional singer, guitarist, radio performer, and troop comedian. She lived in southern Illinois and did this during the depression and for years later. She was personal friends with comedian George Gobel, who also sang and played guitar. He made it big. Aunt Christine went to work for a shoe factory in So. Illinois. She died i...n the early 2000s and her guitar was found later. Eventually, I got it. It hasn't been played in years. The action is brutally high so that will have to be adjusted. It seems to be in sound shape otherwise. The graphics are cool. One tree is a little worn from Christine's ferocious pick action. It has a case and a capo. Somewhere I think there is a picture of my aunt with her western wear and singing troop. If I find that I'll throw it in.
