c1820 ANTIQUE 19thC GEORGIAN OVERSIZE GOBLET GLASS FINELY ENGRAVED HUNTING SCENEDescription: A magnificent Georgian/Regency oversize presentation goblet, with extremely lavish and detailed engraved hunting scene, dating to the early 19th century, circa 1820.The hand blown goblet, with large rounded bowl, stands on a hollow waisted stem with a stepped triple collar above and below, on a heavy conical foot with snapped pontil.
The exquisitely engraved huntin...g scene, which extents around the entire bowl, depicts a Huntsman surrounded by hounds, his saddled horse waiting nearby.
Dimensions:Height: 22.7 cm or 9 inches
Width bowl: 14.5 cm or 5 3/4 inches
Width foot: 12.3 cm or 4 7/8 inches
Weight: 1200 grams
Condition:
In good antique condition, without damage or restoration, expected wear and a small bite to the foot rim (please see gallery image 12), and some inclusions and tiny bubbles within the glass. Please see the images provided which complement this description.
