Up for sale is this lovely antique leather bound Victorian autograph album/ friendship book. The earliest entry is dated 1877 and the majority of entries are dated to the 1880's. Several of the entries are from Rhode Island. The book is mostly full with approximately 50 pages of handwritten entries; there are only a couple of blank leaves. Three of the entries have some original artwork. Some of the entries contain poetry or quotes while others are just pl...ain signatures. The leather covers only have some minor wear, there is a small tear towards the bottom of the spine. The front interior hinge is cracked but the binding is still sound, though there is a little bit of play to it. The book measures approximately 3 1/4 inches by 5 1/4 inches.
