This has put in a few years of service and has aged well....It was taken down in the 1980's when a garage was replaced with new one and according to its original owner had been there since sometime in the 1950's..It was stored in the rafters of the new garage for over 30 years......A Duck taking off in flight from a marsh or pond.....Aluminum cast and 26" tall x 18" at its widest....Designed to mount on the peak of a roof with the base being adjustable. It mounts with 4 wood bolts I ha...ve include that were with it when found again.....Set screws hold the arms in place that hold the compass points....Wind arrow and Duck set and spin freely above...Retains its original finish, shows weather and good age wear....Good detailing in the Duck..No cracks or other damage..Last picture shows it taken apart and how it will be mailed out......Low start on a nice rustic weather vane.
