One final thought, I guarantee and promise satisfaction with each and every item that we ever sell. This hobby, as in any hobby, is supposed to bring us joy and entertainment. No one should ever have to feel bad about a purchase nor a sale. So if you EVER buy ANYTHING from us, and decide in a day or two that it's not what you wanted, nor what you hoped, nor what you expected it to be, simply return it, in the same condition and in a timely manner, and I will issue a complete 100% refund. I have 14 nodders from when I was a child. Of course they were a buck or two back then and my Mother would allow me to buy one every time we went to the Ephrata Children's Boy Store for school clothing. I still indeed do have all the original members of this gathering purchased for me, as a small boy, by my Mother. I took painstaking care of these little guys even then. I even hid this fact from my friends for fear of them making fun of me for playing with dolls? I gently stuffed newspaper in their heads to keep them safe from damage. So each and everyone of these guys turned out negative on my black light test. Then, I purchased numerous nodders off an auction house. Sometimes they identify when, and if, a piece that they're selling, has been restored, but not always. They look beautiful, as advertised, but when subjected to your little black light test, BOOM, there it is. Without the aid of that black light, I couldn't tell which of my Black Faced Phillies had been restored? They are both beautiful, and shiney, and mint, and have vibrant colors. But when the black light hits it, there are your spots of color that someone painted on. And you know what? That's fine. They belong to you. You may certainly fix them up, paint them up, cover up a nick, scratch, pin hole, whatever, to your own choosing and preference. Feel free to do whatever you like. But the problem now lies, if and when you should decide to sell them. Because now you have an obligation to at least share this. Now they've been restored and this is going to help sell it for some people, and discourage other people from buying it. It works both ways. I don't mind owning and displaying mint nodders in my personal collection that have been professional restored. Don't mind it one little bit. But it's far easier for me to sell and get huge prices from the mint ones that have NEVER been restored. That's what I make my living off of. Those are both super rare, super hard to find, and SUPER EXPENSIVE, but they sell. So get yourself a black light please, you'll be an expert in no time and you'll be glad that you did. A 30 Watt Black Light can be purchased on Amazon for $30.00 and it's more then big enough. I would never ever be without mine again. They even sell blacklight flashlights. They're not big enough for at home but it you're going to a cardshow and thinking about buying one, stick it in your pocket and sneak a quick look before paying the gentleman. If you're a nodder collector, this is an absolute must for your own satisfaction as well as protection. It's simply too easy. Thanks again and keep in touch...……………..Barry
