*Hi, I'm selling my 4 vintage original (old, authentic) Wizard Of Oz masks from my vintage original Wizard Of Oz collection which I have owned for many years. I also collect and research vintage original Judy Garland merchandise. These masks were made in 1939 to promote the Wizard Of Oz movie and were handed out upon it's release. They were accompanied by a flyer which said "8 Ways To Have Fun At A Halloween Party". They were manufactured by the Einson-Freeman Compan...y and were distributed by W L Stensgaard and Associates in 1939. *Each mask has a tab that reads:"Par-T-Mask, Trade Mark, Patent No 2021593, Einson-Freeman Co Inc, Long Island City NY, Litho in USA, Distributed by W. L Stensgaard and Associates, Chicago. The tab on the mask of the Wizard doesn't have the "distributed by W.L Stensgaard and Associates, Chicago" part printed on it. Some of the masks had the Stensgaard distributers printed on them and some of them didn't. This was probably because not all of the masks were distributed by Stensgaard and there may have been a few print runs. Some of them may have been distributed by MGM or Loew's which was MGM's licensing agency. I purchased the Wizard mask separately from the others. *Each mask also has a tab that states the name of the character and the copyright of the movie.*The full set has 5 masks so this sale is for 4 out of the 5.*The Wizard Mask : 10 x 7 and a half inches approx. Excellent condition. Tabs and rubber bands in place. Rubber bands have become brittle with age and the left one has broken. Very clean front and back, no spotting. No tears. No fading, very bright and vibrant. Will come in acid free, archival, crystal clear polyester sleeve for display and protection.*The Scarecrow Mask : 10 and a half inches x 8 inches approx. Excellent condition. No fading, very bright and vibrant. Tabs and rubber bands in place. Rubber bands are very good and in working condition. No spotting, very clean front and back. Some creasing and curling to the paper. Creasing on hat and across eyes. Lies flat in it's acid free, archival, crystal clear polyester sleeve which it will come in.*The Tin Woodman Mask: 10 x 6 inches approx. No fading, bright and vibrant and in excellent condition. Tabs and rubber bands in place. Rubber bands are in very good working condition. Very clean, no spotting front and back. Crease to the top of the funnel hat and paper has a curl to it. Mask lies flat in it's acid free, archival, crystal clear display sleeve which it will come in.*The Cowardly Lion Mask: 10 x 8 inches approx. No fading, bright and vibrant and in excellent condition. Tiny tear on Lion's ear, very small. Some creasing to mask. Tabs and bands in place. Bands are in very good working condition. Very clean front and back, no spotting. Will come with it's acid free, archival, crystal clear, display sleeve.*No odours, my home is non smoking and damp free.Terms and Conditions: Please pay with Paypal.
