We are offering for sale a fabulous quality 4-piece Art Deco inspired modernist silver tea service made by the premier silversmiths, Elkington & Company. This superb teaset comprises a teapot, coffee or hot water jug, sugar basin and milk or cream jug.
Each piece has a lovely streamlined, elegant appearance with an attractive decorated band around the main bodies of the pots and rims of sugar bowl and milk pitcher. The teapot and coffee jug are fitted with a wooden handle a...nd clever silver mounted wooden finial to protect the user from heat. This tea service has a good weight and is in fine condition throughout with a lovely original patina and no negative condition issues (no dents, repairs etc).
