Original Description:
This is a very unique piece of dollhouse miniature furniture.  It is an antique slant-top desk made from blonde tiger maple.  The slanted top is hinged and opens with two hinges to reveal an inside compartment.  The desk has a drawer with two knobs. The hinges and knobs are original to the piece.  The character of the tiger maple can be seen throughout the visible areas of the desk except for the inside of the drawer and the bottom of the desk top.  The piece o...f wood on the bottom of the top section is loose and can be glued back in place.  It measures 4 1/2" high by 4" wide by 2 3/4" deep.
