On auction, we have an antique brass bathtub holder for soap, shampoo or sponge. This sturdy holder is made of 1/4" round frame and back with thinner round base and sides. The basket measures just under 6" X 3 5/8" and 1" deep. The curved hanger is 3 1/8" wide and the holder is 7" front to back. Very well made, this weighs 11.7 ounces. This is in excellent condition for its age and possible use. We can find no flaws. Please view my photographs for more descript...ion. My friend who collects everything is starting to part with a few of her treasures. This was found in his family storage and we do not know its history.
