PLEASE READ! Here's another beauty from Johnny Blazer's Buried Treasures! This is the Hot Wheels Redline Custom Cougar (Mercury) released in 1968. This is the Hong Kong version. When I got this car it had been taken apart so I polished it but did not plate it as I feel this looks more authentic. However some metal defects will show through. Then I repainted it in a beautiful spectraflame honey amber gold and gave it a black roof. The paint is gorgeous, any imperfections are due to... the lighting. It was put back together with my version of repo rivets. 

Here's the parts list: 

Glass: original (some scuffs)
Interior: original brown
Axles: original straightened 
Wheels: repo Hong Kong deepdish
Hood: repo (fixed hinges)
The base was polished and I repainted the grill and taillights. The pictures DO NOT DO THIS CAR JUSTICE!
