This is a Chinese porcelain meiping vase and cover decorated in underglaze cobalt blue featuring lotus flowers and scrolling vine. A butterfly border to the foot. Panelled border to the shoulder on blue ground featuring flowres. CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE MEIPING PORCELAIN VASE, 19TH CENTURY Description This is a Chinese porcelain meiping vase and cover decorated in underglaze cobalt blue featuring lotus flowers and scrolling vine. A butterfly border to the foot. Panelled border to the shoulder on blue ground featuring flowres. Hawthron border to the neck.

Four character apochryphal Kangxi mark to base (but 19th Century).
Height 6.75 in (17 cm).
