Two Dinky 38b Sunbeam Talbot tourers from the 1940s. The grey one is the rarer version made only in 1946, the first re-issue of the pre-war model, as shown by the pre-war solid steering wheel and smooth wheel hubs. Also this uses the pre war gold lacquered baseplate. You can see that if you look into the cockpit area but Dinky sprayed them black on the underside to 'modernise' them. The original windscreen was loose due to damage to the hidden p...art below the slot but it has been safely secured in place and you can't see the damage. The yellow one is the 1947 version with ridged hubs. It has chipping as you can see but the paintwork is original. I think someone has replaced the screen as it looks a bit too clean. The baseplate is lightly tarnished. PLEASE READ THIS TO SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY....
