Made by the NYLINT Toys, is this pressed-steel model of a 1970s GMC cab-over-engine tractor with dual rear axles pulling a trailer with markings for GTE. General Telephone & Electronics Corporation was the largest independent telephone company in the United States from 1955-1982. The toy has a detachable trailer with a rear roll-up door; when trailer is detached it can stand on its own with trailer gear that folds up when not in use; interior of tractor is detailed; roof show...s dual horns, dual CB antennas; running lights; and air conditioner; rear portion of cab shows dual exhaust stacks and dual fuel tanks. Measures 21½" overall and was removed from the box for the first time to take pictures and than replaced.
