Collectible Vintage ' 55 RECORD AMBASSADEUR 5000 (3rd Version) Baitcasting Reel

The 3rd version of Record Ambassadeur 5000.This variant of the model carries the dark Record Ambassadeur red with a blank reel foot;no serial number.Record 5000 was given its first foot number as 50000 in 1956 on a mock reel presented to the late Ake Murvall for his excellent work.It would eventually re-designated as ABU Ambassadeur in 1957. The 1st version of this model in 1953 had a solid gray spool and a gray star while the 2nd version from the '53/54 production batch spots a d...ull gray-arbor spool with red flanges and a gray star.This 3rd version has a red star and a gray arbor spool with red flanges.Smooth reel foot has no stamping.Reel had been used, in excellent condition;showing minor rashes mostly on the rims.Mechanically excellent.Old-fashioned genuine leather case has a chrome latch, with light stains on the interior, but in excellent condition.With complimentary duplicate info folder.Worldwide shipping is $25.50 insured in registered parcel with delivery confirmation.Free domestic shipping in Malaysia.
