Antique French Louis XV Style Crystal Chandelier Gilded Bronze 6 Arm Cage 1032
This fabulous French Louis XV style 6 arm bronze chandelier has lots of detail with a classical cage design.
The center piece has lots of detail and is oozing with character with its classical 3 armed cage shape.The chandelier is adorned with beautiful clear faceted and droplet style crystals with a large crystal ball at the base.The chain has 3 oblong shape patterned and 3 plain round links leading to... the ceiling rose which has lovely detailing.The 6 arms are a scroll design with acanthus leaf detail leading to beautiful flower shaped candle drip holders. The candle drips are the old cardboard type.
The overall measurements are Height from top of ceiling rose to bottom of crystal ball 92 cm.Maximum Width from arm to arm 56 cm, Ceiling Rose Diameter 11.5 cm.
This is a very heavy chandelier with the approximate weight of 7.5 KG.
The light is in great vintage condition with lots of lovely patina. It has been cleaned but left unpolished so you can decide on the overall finish.The light is working with its original French twin core wiring and it takes 6 small screw in bulbs.
This beautiful chandelier would make a impressive focal point in any room adding a touch of French Grandeur.Best suited to rooms with high ceilings due to size and weight.
