Original Description:
Here we have a nice World War II U.S. paratroop officer’s overseas cap that is in very good condition. It is constructed of khaki cotton material and with officers black and gold piping. Sewn to the left front is a theater made para/glider patch embroidered in white cotton thread on a blue twill background with a red border. Pinned to the left front is a sterling marked 1st Lieutenant’s bar. The cap is lined with khaki colored polished cotton material. The sweatband is of khaki cot...ton material and ink stamped with a laundry mark. There is no size marked in the cap, but I would estimate it to be a “6⅞”.5450
