Vintage Cadillac 1941-1948 Starter - 1107931.
This is a 1947 Cadillac starter that can be used on 1941-48 Cadillacs. Some say it will fit 1939 and 1940. You decide.It has new brushes, a commutator turned to true up, a new center bearing, new end bushings, and new rubber boot for the solenoid.The solenoid plunger travel has been adjusted to provide the specified 1/8” clearance to the nose housing.The original I.D. tag has been reinstalled after cleaning up the body of the starter.W...hen powered up, the starter runs well.
