Antique Ring. 14k yellow gold, moonstone and diamond. Made mid 20th century by Strellmans. Measurements: US size 6.5 Weighs 5.7 grams. Description: Naturalistically modelled floral mount hold up an oval moonstone. Flowers and foliage were popular Art Nouveau themes. The workmanship and heft indicate a later date. Beautiful flowers are very organic and seemingly flow around the ring, drawing the eye around the moonstone. A small diamond forms a little exclamation point - almost like ...a beauty spot on a flawless face. Marks: Engraved marks inside the shank partially illegible. STRELL followed by 14k. Gold was acid tested to ensure metal purity. Condition: good with minor wear commensurate with age.
