Mauchline Ware Treen Thimble Holder in lovely condition, but the transfer is very faded. I have tried to enlarge the photos, and I think that the words say Perth from Keir Street. The picture is very poor, unlike the rest of the item. The lid comes off, revealing a thimblel in a velvet lined holder , I cannot find any marks on the silver, but it is non-ferrous so I will say white metal. This is a lovely little item, and I have not seen one in the shape of a saucepan before. Thank you f...or looking. I am happy to combine postage.
