For sale is this antique copy of the Koran. It is 100% guaranteed authentic!! This is a smaller edition and is almost “pocket-sized” (see photos of it next to a ruler for better sizing). The pages are thin and frail with what looks to be hand written calligraphy and beautiful gold embellished artwork. It is very well done and beautiful. It is bound in a leather or faux leather. The binding has come loose and is no longer attached to the pages. A small piece of black electrical tape... is on the binding to hold the covers together. Many of the pages are loose inside the covers. This piece is not in the best condition (note the condition in the photos).
This would make a great collectible or conversation piece. Great gift item!! I’m not sure of the exact age, but it is at least as old as the late 1800’s and may be much older. Don’t pass it up!
