ANTIQUE 9ct GOLD WALTHAM FULL HUNTER POCKET WATCH c1927.. A really nice condition, good quality pocket watch The movement is running with a good balance action from fully wound to run down. Keeping reasonably good timeAs with all vintage watches, no claims are made regarding accuracy of time keeping. Vintage watches may need servicing, even if they are in good running condition, and unless otherwise stated they may need to be cleaned, timed, oiled or adjustedCrown ...wind and hand set both function well. On the movement it has Waltham Seven Jewels U.S.A 25790677 (see photo)The 9ct Gold case measures 49mm diameter approx, the case is in a good condition, it has some small pocket wear scratches and a little ding, only to be expected for a used pocket watch of this age it has a hallmark for Birmingham , the letter C c1927 9 375 A.L.D In the dust cover it has DENNISON WATCH Co Ltd Special A.L.D 9 375Please not that the back cover is a tight fit & you will need a case knife to open it with out scratching the cover!The dial is in excellent condition, Waltham U.S.A.
