A very nicely carved old African tribal Janus figure from the lega people of DRC. Carved from bovine bone the 2 Faced figure has clear signs of blood spots showing it as bone. 19cm tall and 6.5 x 3.5cm.
I am a personal collector of tribal art and am proud to have a large and varied collection which I have put together over the last ten years. Due to the size of my collection I am selling some to enable be to continue collecting.
I have brought my collection bit by bit from Kempt...on antiques fair in surrey as well as from Surrey and London auctions. I make effort to buy items which are genuine. I aim to make the photos clear and true to life and will do my best to include smells, weights ECT.
