Decals: The two sheets, A and B, contain decals for fiveLuftwaffe aircraft, two Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4’s serving with 9 Staffel Jagdgeschwader 77 9./JG 77“Herz As”, a Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 serving with 15./JG 54"Grünherz", a Fw 190D-9 serving with 11./ JG 54 and a Me...sserschmittMe 262 serving with 1./KG 51 “Edelweiss”. All the aircraft took part inthe ill fated Operation Bodenplatte, a mass attack by the Luftwaffe onAllied air bases in Europe, on the 1st Jan1945. Sheet A includes aircraft code and W.Nr. numbers, two fuselage rankinsignia and codes for the Fw 190A-8, two part III¯♥Gruppe JG 77 unit badges, Blue Reich Defence fuselage bands for the Fw 190A-8 of JG 54, spinner spiralsand a Black pinstripe for the nose of the Me 262 to border the White nosecone. Sheet B includes comprehensive data / stencils for all three aircraft types, including wing walks, data blocks, octane markings etc and several types ofbalkenkreuz for the fuselage and the upper and lower wings andLuftwaffe tail insignia. There are sufficient decals tocomplete two Bf 109K-4 Messerschmitt, the two Focke Wulf Fw 190 and the Me 262 aircraftfrom the sheet in full. Both Bf 109K-4's "White 17" and "White1" of JG 77 are finished in RLM 81/82 uppers over RLM 84fuselage sides with RLM 81 mottling / wisps and 76 Light-Bluewing lowers. The Fw190A-8 "Black 15" is also finished in RLM 81/82 uppers overRLM 76 fuselage sides and lowers with a blotched RLM 82 mottle and a Blue ReichDefence band, the latter supplied as a decal on the sheet. The Fw 190D-9 "Yellow 2" of JG 54 isfinished in RLM 81/82 uppers over RLM 76 lowers with a RLM 04 Yellow lower cowland rudder and the Me 262 is finished in RLM 81/82 uppers with a RLM 82squiggles over RLM 76 lowers and a White fin tip and nose.
Also includes a double sidedA4 colour/black and white placement guide showing side, upper and lower profiles and two double A5 black and white data/stencil placement guides for the Bf 109 andFw 190.
